Ashley Reeber Hobson has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2016. Ashley is a Tampa native and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Professional and Technical Writing from the University of South Florida in 2011. She later attended Widener University Commonwealth Law School and received her Juris Doctor in 2014. During her undergraduate and post graduate career, Ashley held various positions within Gilbert Garcia Group, P.A., and is enthusiastic about returning to the firm as an attorney. Ashley is a member of The Florida Bar, Real Property and Young Lawyers Division sections

Ashley’s primary areas of practice include Real Property Law, Real Estate Transactions, Complex Title Issues and Client Development for Sapphire Title and Escrow Company. Ashley also has several experience in Default Servicing, primarily dealing with foreclosures.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, family and pets. She also enjoys volunteer work, traveling and cooking. 

Mrs. Hobson is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association and is an affiliate of Greater Tampa Realtors.

Michelle Garcia Gilbert has been admitted to the following practices and courts: Florida Bar, 1986; Middle District of Florida; 1988, Northern District of Florida; 2005, Southern District of Florida, 2006; U.S. Supreme Court, 2000; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, 2003. She matriculated at the University of South Florida (B.A., 1982, cum laude), and the University of Notre Dame (J.D., 1985). She is a member of the following groups: Greater Tampa Association of Realtors; Bay Area Real Estate Council, Inc.; Hillsborough County Bar Association, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section; Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Business Sections; American Legal and Financial Network; Legal League 100 (Advisory Board Member, 2014-15); REOMAC; MBA; Attorney Agent, Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund/ Old Republic; Fidelity National Title agent, and Stewart Title agent.

Michelle handles a wide variety of legal matters for the firm and has substantial litigation experience in both default and non-default cases, including jury and non-jury trials, motion practice, and appellate oral argument, throughout the state of Florida.  She has managed the firm’s expansion into probate, estate planning, business transactional and corporate law.

She practiced real estate and business law since 1989, specializing in default servicing legal work, including litigated foreclosures, real estate closings, evictions, and commercial litigation. Michelle works closely with the default industry by speaking at webinars and at conferences, as well as consulting on various issues relevant to the industry.  She taught the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Certified Process Servers Course from 1993 to 2014

Michelle enjoys travel with her family, and participates in the varied sport and academic activities of her husband and six children.  She volunteers with her parish, St. Lawrence Catholic Church and School and with Quest, a nonprofit organization devoted to assisting severely developmentally disabled adults.  She is on the Board of Directors of Directions for Living, a nonprofit organization dedicated to behavioral health well-being.
